About this plant

The spikes of brilliant true blue flowers on this perennial native attract butterflies, hummingbirds and neighbors to your garden! It provides outstanding color from July to Septrember. Great blue lobelia naturalizes easily and prefers moist soils, but tolerates periods of drought.  

Height: 2-3 feet
Width: 1-2 feet
Benefits for pollinators: Attracts hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. It is a host plant for the Baltimore Checkerspot butterfly (Euphydryas phaeton).
