Step into a celebration of color, culture, and design with an elevated Cinco de Mayo floral workshop inspired by the bold beauty of Mexican tradition with floral designer Cynthia Humphrey of Via Amendola Botanical Designs. In this artful, hands-on experience, you’ll create a lush arrangement featuring richly hued seasonal flowers, layered in expressive shades of coral, fuchsia, golden yellow, and crimson. With an emphasis on movement, abundance, and intentional composition, you’ll explore techniques for balancing saturated color and dynamic texture to achieve a look that feels both festive and refined.

A thoughtfully styled tablescape will be on display, offering inspiration for how your design can anchor a celebratory gathering with warmth and sophistication. Throughout the workshop, enjoy refreshing mocktails served in traditional cantaritos and wear a provided floral headband as you design in a setting alive with creativity. This workshop is perfect for those who appreciate bold floral artistry and the joy of creating something striking, spirited, and beautifully composed.

Each participant will receive a curated jute burlap tote filled with floral design essentials to keep, including an apron, clippers, and a vessel—everything you need to continue designing beyond the workshop.

With over 25 years of experience in floral design, Cynthia Humphrey's journey started as a simple fascination, arranging bouquets for friends and family. Over the years, she honed her skills through countless arrangements, events, and moments where flowers were the centerpiece of celebration and solace. Cynthia furthered her education and passion for floral design by earning a degree from the renowned New York Botanical Garden. This experience allowed her to delve deeper into the artistry behind floral design, where she learned about different flower varieties, mastered the art of arrangement, and explored innovative techniques to push the boundaries of creativity.
