Observation Field Trip (Currently designed for 1st Grade) 
Students will go on an adventure through our forest and meadow habitats at GBC. They get hands on experience at practicing the scientific skill of observation. They will compare the forest and meadow habitat and see what is similar and/or different between these two locations. The students will use their senses along with scientific tools to measure and record their findings. The goal of this field trip is to get students out in nature learning how to carefully observe their environment and to be able to use that data to compare the similarities and differences between two habitats.  

Note: This trip is currently designed for first grade students but can be adapted for other grade levels.
