White Turtlehead has spikes of elegant white flowers atop shiny green foliage in late summer to early fall, from August to October. The flowers can possess a touch of pink and resemble snapdragon flowers. It prefers moist soils and can do well in a garden if watered during dry spells.

Benefits for pollinators: Attracts bumblebees and butterflies. It is a host plant for the Common Buckeye butterfly (Junonia coenia).
