About this plant

Dianthus Kahori – Border Pinks

This new outstanding variety from Japan forms a low clump of grassy grey-green foliage, with a long summer display of fragrant, semi-double, lilac-pink blooms. Well suited for edging and in the rock garden. Attractive to butterflies.  Shearing plants back after main flush of bloom to maintain a tight, compact habit and promote additional bloom in late summer or early fall.  Evergreen. “Kahori” means fragrance in Japanese.
