About this plant

Open clusters of trumpet-shaped, lavender flowers grace Hairy Beardtongue from late June to August. Can grow well in a variety of conditions from sun to shade and dry to wet soil moisture with high pollinator value.

Benefits for pollinators: Attracts hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. It is a host plant for the Common Buckeye butterfly (Junonia coenia) and the Ruby-throated Hummingbird (Archilochus colubris).
