About this plant

This woodland native, has attractive heart-shaped leaves with occasional burgundy centers blooming in April to June. The cool white to soft pink flower spikes make a beautiful carpet in late spring.

Benefits for pollinators: Attracts bees and butterflies. It is a host plant for the Gray Hairstreak butterfly (Strymon melinus)
