Greenhouse Volunteers & Community Outreach

Greenhouse:
Help support our mission of education by supporting our events, greenhouse, GBC grounds and each other. Lend your time, talents and gardening interests to our horticulture program as a volunteer. Learn new skills and share your own with our growing volunteer group.

We are grateful for our volunteers who help us on our mission to connect the community to nature. Volunteer opportunities are available for GBC members of the community who offer special skills or wish to grow experience. If you are interested in getting involved, fill out our volunteer form!

Community Outreach:
As part of our mission to connect people with plants and nature, Greenwich Botanical Center is re-establishing our long-standing Outreach program to reach people who are not readily or regularly able to access plants and nature- the elderly, disabled, youth, families in housing transitions, etc. We depend on volunteer leads to coordinate these programs and each activity/event is manned by a group of volunteers to work with the target populations to ensure an enriching and enjoyable experience connecting with plants and nature.
