David has a career spanning over 45 years of teaching diverse hands-on, project-based curriculums that highlight student achievement and understanding through nature-based experiences. David’s programs are all based upon his original research. He has two BS degrees; one in Biology, another in Geography, and three MS degrees; Biology, Environmental Education, and Interdisciplinary Science Education, all from Southern Connecticut State University. For over 30 years, David has been helping to restore the natural habitat along the Norwalk River. He spends his free time birding, building pollinator gardens, and taking long walks with his wife of 35 years.
