Bulb Lasagna: Container Workshop with Sandy Lindh of English Gardens & Designs

Register Here

We have heard about the layered bulb planting method and wondered how people plant containers for a lovely succession of blooms. Sandy Lindh of English Gardens & Designs will join us to demystify how to plant a fall container of bulbs for a lovely floral show the following spring. Sandy will demonstrate the “bulb lasagne” method, in which several varieties of bulbs are planted at different depths in one container. Each layer flowers at a slightly different time, creating a succession of color from early through late spring. The container we create will have a lovely mix of tulips, hyacinth, crocus and daffodils (images are for a general idea only and our results will vary).

We will also cover best practices of how the container should be stored and cared for over the winter for the best results in the spring. This workshop includes all instruction, bulbs, soil and a sturdy 25" plastic pot liner. Please register by the number of containers you would like to create.
