Celebrate the beauty of gathering in this joyful, family-friendly floral workshop. In this hands-on experience, families will create a vibrant 3-foot floral garland using carnations in warm, autumn colors—perfect for decorating fall tables, doorways, or festive family celebrations.
Guided by floral designer Elior Coleman of Call Me Marigold, participants will learn the basics of floral garland design while exploring color, texture, and simple techniques for working with fresh flowers. Along the way, Elior will share tips for using flowers to create welcoming spaces for family and friends.
Each participant will leave with a handcrafted garland ready to bring color and warmth to autumn gatherings. All materials are included. No experience necessary, just bring your creativity.
Appropriate for children ages 8+. This is not a drop-off program.

About Elior Coleman of Call Me Marigold:
Elior Coleman is the owner and lead designer of Call Me Marigold, a small, eco-conscious florist, based out of Stamford, CT. Elior, a mother of two boys and a long-time middle and high school teacher, always dreamed of working with flowers.
At Call Me Marigold, Elior loves to design with the seasons and highlight the natural beauty of the flowers and foliage she works with. Her custom arrangements are seasonal and one-of-a-kind, with a focus on sustainability and respect for nature. Whenever possible, Elior sources flowers that are locally and sustainably grown, and her arrangements are foam-free. Call Me Marigold provides flowers for events and holidays, and also offers a floral subscription service and workshops. Elior puts love and care into each arrangement she creates.
