Hoot, Hoot, Hurray! Join Us for an Owl-some Afternoon!
Ever wondered what it's like to rescue a tiny owl from a 75-foot Christmas tree in the middle of Manhattan? Now's your chance to find out, straight from the woman who lived it!
Bring the whole family to GBC Gallery for a magical afternoon with Ravensbeard Wildlife Center, featuring live native owls and other wild wonders. Then settle in for a reading from author and wildlife rehabilitator Ellen Kalish, whose real-life rescue of the beloved Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Owl inspired her charming children's book, The Christmas Owl.
Following the reading, Ellen will be on hand for a book signing, the perfect keepsake (or gift!) for the holiday season. Pre-sale is recommended ($20/book), so grab your copy early and get ready to give a hoot!
